In addition to softball, I play water polo for the girl’s varsity team of my high school. I picked up water polo in my sophomore year after having a background in swimming from ages 5 to 12 years old. I have been the starting varsity goalie since I joined the team. I play water polo as a way to strengthen myself and improve my endurance.
Off the field, I have volunteered in local youth leagues. I umpired for 3 years before switching to coaching, helping as a hitting coach for one of the local recreational league teams. I also volunteer as a tutor, being a part of school tutoring centers as well as helping some of my peers, in Math, Spanish, and European History.
