Player Bio

Hello my name is Melody Acevedo (aka Melo). I am a sophomore at Hillcrest High School in Riverside , CA.

As a freshman I started to play for the High School Varsity team as their starting shortstop . I currently play for Rico Firecrackers 18u team as of 2022. I have a total of 9 years playing softball. I started travel ball at the age of 8 .

During my Freshman year in High School, I helped lead my team to their first CIF Championship. As a freshman I received multiple awards and recognition. I ended my freshman year with a 3.8 GPA.

• Colorado Sparkler All Star game player
• Lead all CA freshman’s in Home runs (maxpreps)
